The Krantisinh Nana Patil College of Veterinary Science, Shirwal, the constituent college of the Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur was established in 1988. The institute’s name has been given to honour the great freedom warrior Krantisinh Nana Patil who established a parallel government and fought against the British Regime. This institute has an excellent track record of producing meritorious undergraduate students and outstanding ranks in the all-India ICAR JRF Entrance examination.
